Ann Eaton

Ann Eaton

In Canon Elliot’s “Memories” he says:

Returning to Wellington in January 1870 as I entered in my career as a householder, Mrs Eaton, a middle-aged woman was my housekeeper, and we also had a girl to help her.

My start as Headmaster of Queen Elizabeth’s School was started with 13 day boys and 7 boarders.”

Mrs Eaton had been Canon Elliot’s housekeeper before he came to Gainsborough.
